Team Offerings

United offers competitive and developmental team options for athletes at different ages, skill levels, and commitment levels. Whether your athlete is new to volleyball or pursuing higher-level competition, our goal is to provide strong coaching, skill development, teamwork, and a positive training environment.

Travel Teams

Travel teams are designed for athletes who are ready for a higher level of training and competition. United offers multiple team levels, including National, Power, Regional, and Club, so athletes can be placed in an environment that fits their goals and supports long-term development.

Travel team athletes compete in events across the Southeast and beyond, depending on team level and schedule. Evaluations for travel teams are held in July, with makeup evaluations offered later for select athletes when needed.

National team seasons begin with open gyms in November and typically run through early July, finishing with USAV Nationals. Other travel teams generally practice from November through early May and finish with SRVA Regionals or their final scheduled events.

Local Teams

Local teams are a great option for newer players or families looking for a lower-commitment team experience. These teams focus on fundamentals, steady improvement, and team development in a positive environment.

Local team athletes practice twice each week and participate in local tournaments and in-house scrimmages. Local teams do not require formal evaluations. Athletes are evaluated during the first few weeks of practice and then placed on the team that best fits their development.

Local team practices typically begin in January and continue through March or April, depending on the team schedule.
